Please help this family! These children lost everything in this fire! Stacey Lee Funkhouser has 4 children and lost virtually everything. Energy Express of Hampshire County has decided to help a local family get back on their feet. One of our Romney Energy Express students had her house burn down a copy of weeks ago. The county's Energy Express sites in Slanesville and Romney are working to collect donations to help bring back part of what was lost in the fire. Please help by donating what you can. There are many ways that you can help! 1. Donate new or slightly used items 2. Purchase items from stacy Lee's Wal-Mart or walmart.com gift registry. It is listed under Stacy's name in the wedding registry (sorry about that there are not many choicese for types of registries) 3. Monetary donations are being accepted through an account at the Bank of Romney. The account is in STacy Lee's name. Anonymous donations may be made there as well. All non-monetary donations may be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Romney or Slanesville Elementary Schools. The last day for the school to accept donations is August 3, 2007. Items needed: household items, clothing, shoes, personal hygiene items, furniture, toys, etc. Sizes needed: Bottoms: Men 32, 34, boy's 12-14, girls 12-14,. women's 10. Tops: Men's L, Boy's 12-14, Girls 14-16, Women's M-L. Shoes: Men's 10 1/2, Boy's 6, girl's 5-6, Women's 7 1/2. Bank of Romney has account set up as "Stacy Lee Family" for donations. |
