“I want to thank all of my church family that remembered me through their thoughts, prayers, phone calls, visits, cards and gifts while I was in the hospital and after I got home.  It was quite an ordeal but I'm doing much better.  Once again I don't know what I'd done without my 3 F's:  Faith, Family and Friends .   I appreciate and love all of you.   Thank you.” Kitty

“Many thanks to all my friends from Annunciation and
St. Anthony for all your prayers and expressions of kindness during my recent surgery. A special thanks to St. Anthony Ladies Guild for their thoughtfulness. God Bless all of you.” Bernard Douthitt

Lenten Ecumenical Services

Sunday, March 25 ~~ First Baptist Church, Ft. Ashby

Annunciation of Our Lord Parish will be having Altar Server Training on Sunday, May 20, at 1:30 p.m. All current Altar Servers and all those who would like to become Altar Servers are encouraged to attend.

Thank you, Mom! This year Mother’s Day is May 13th. Every year on Mother’s Day, the Allegany County Right to Life runs a full-page Ad in the Cumberland Times-News with the names of all area residents who wish to thank their mothers for giving them life. Suggested donation per name is $5.00. It is one way to show the community that you value life and are willing to help support the National Right to Life movement. Each participating church will be recognized in the Ad. A parishioner at each parish will be available after both masses this weekend (March 24-25) to receive your donations and your names for inclusion in the Mother’s Day Ad.

A dinner for the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord will be held on Sunday, March 25, at 4:00 p.m. Please bring a covered dish and join us for friendship and fellowship.
